Born in New York City, he was the son of Joseph and Lillian Collins, of Larchmont. Mr. Collins grew up in Yonkers and Mamaroneck. He was a retired sales and marketing executive. He was also a past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge 1457 in Mamaroneck. He is survived by his wife, Janet; his children, Elisabeth, Katherine, George, Joseph and Stephen; four sisters and two brothers, Kevin Collins of Rye and Brian Collins of River Edge, NJ; and eight grandchildren.
