Iris Andrews Collins Iris Andrews Collins, 70, of Ivanhoe, died Monday, March 16, 1998, in the Birdmont Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20, at 2 p.m. at the Reese Funeral Chapel in Austinville with the Rev. A.C. Ashford and the Rev. Earl Hanks officiating. Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Andrews Collins. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene and Glen Sword of Houston, Texas, and Debbie Collins and Arthur Wayne Harless of Route 1, Max Meadows; a sister, Aileen Umberger of Wytheville; and two grandchildren, Tracy Collins and Priscilla Sword. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Reese Funeral Home. Reese Funeral Home in Austinville is in charge of the arrangements.
