Since the LDS Church, the Elders' families, and other U.S. authorities involved are being relatively tight-lipped (and rightly so, I'm sure), and since that region is a common one to many of us here, I'm wondering if there are any of our list that may have contacts in the region that may be able to provide more details, either information already known or as it develops (how's that for a run-on sentence?).
