The Josiah Collins, brother of Stephen, who married Jurette Bohannon is very famous and much has been written about him. Recently Richard Prewitt of Des Moines, Iowa, published a book, "The Collins Book, Joseph Collins and Lucy Marchbanks, Their Descendants." In this book, he names Josiah, the hunter and founder of Lexington, as a son of Joseph and Lucy. Another good book which has a lot of information about Josiah is "Lexington 1779, Pioneer Kentucky as described by Early Settlers" by Bettye Lee Mastin.
