Hello to all my Collins cousins, Do any of the names below ring a bell? They are all buried at Little Shoal Cemetery, near Liberty, MO. This pleasant little spot is the burial place of many early Clay County pioneers. The county has run out of funds to keep the cemetery mowed, and now we need a way to take care of it. I drove by Little Shoal this week. The grass is starting to grow a little, but there aren't any weeds yet. There is some brown tall grass left from last year. We're hoping to organize a group of people who want to help spruce up Little Shoal this spring, and have it looking nice for Memorial Day. It's a small cemetery -- a few representatives from each family could handle the job. If you are connected to Little Shoal, or you can help, or you're just interested in this project, let me know. We're going to meet at the cemetery on April 11 to have a look.
