Hi, Does anyone have any information on the family of Joel Collins? He was born abt 1822 in Alabam, appears there in 1850 as a boarder/laborer. And married abt. 1850/1851 to Mary Ann Stuckey. They were in St. Francis County Arkansas in 1860 with his father? and a brother?. I believe that his father was James Collins b. abt 1785 in Georgia. He married Penelope Baggett in 1812 in Morgan County, Georgia. One of the confusing things is that On the 1860 census He is married to Jemima, also a Baggett, and a sister of Penelope.
