Hello Collins Family researchers. I have just found data that links my Collins Family with a Patrick Collins b. 1755 in Ireland. He married an Elizabeth Pepper in Frederick Co., MD. They show children: Reese Collins b. abt 1775, Isaac Collins b. bef 1780, Elijah Collins b, bef 1787, Unknown Collins b. bef 1800. Son Isaac Collins is shown Married to a Nancy Blackburn b. abt 1780. Their son Edward Collins is shown married to an Elizabeth ??? in Russell Co., VA With Children: George W. Collins b. abt 1840 John Collins b. abt 1841 Edward Collins b. abt 1844 Mary J. Collins b. abt 1846 There were approx eleven children in all. Elizabeth?? died March 1872 in Boyd Co., KY and Edward Married a Susan White in Wayne Co., VA & Lived with her in Boyd Co., Then Greenup Co., KY where he died in 1894. John Edward Collins b. 1841 in Russell Co., Va Married a Hulda Johnson & had James & Elizabeth before Hulda died abt 1870. John Edward Collins then married Nancy Jane Berry (she was previously married to John Dean and also had a son by a Millard Click) and had several more children including my Grandfather Benjamin Harrison Collins.
