Moses Collins was born about 1753 possibly in NC. He married Hannah Willis about 1774 and he died about 1816 in Mississippi after having moved to MS from the Ga/SC area about 1811. He had several children. His sons who had male issue are listed below: 1. JOSEPH COLLINS, b. March 31, 1779 (died near Grenada MS) . 2. MOSES COLLINS JR., b. July 16, 1781, Winton (Barnwell) South Carolina d. October 04, 1855, Desoto Parish, LA. 3. SEABORN COLLINS, b. January 22, 1796 GA died 8 Feb 1868 Yazoo County, MS I'm looking for ANY Collinses descended from these boys. My goal is to find a suitable male subject (a male Collins descended from a straight Collins male paternal line back to Moses Collins) who is willing to participate in the Collins DNA study. Any help would be appreciated. I've found three males in this line thus far, but none of them were interested in taking part in the study -- even at no cost.
