I'm looking for information on Hamlin R. COLLINS, born about 1803, Meherrin Parish, Brunswick, County, VA. His parents may be Littleberry/bury COLLINS, b abt. 1740 and Lucy. 1810 census Brunswick, Co. VA lists 3 white males which could be Hamlin, (brothers?) Littleberry and William Collins. I think Hamlin R. married Martha Tinsbloom and they had Martha, m Robert SHAW, Jane, William, Eliza, m Charles C. SPOONER and Thomas L. Collins. Second marriage was to Rebecca Jane POWERS, b 1827, Weldon, Halifax Co. NC. They married July 1, 1856. Thomas L. Collins was Bondsman for them. I think this is Hamlins son from his first marriage.
