Hello everyone, I thought I would send my COLLINS info (what little there is) out again. Forgive the length of this, I just don't know a shorter way of getting the information to others possibly seeking the same information. PLEASE NOTE CATHERINE COLLINS ROGER'S SON, ELI TWITTY ROGERS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS LETTER. BECAUSE OF THIS NAME BEING OUT OF THE ORDINARY, I FEEL HE MUST HAVE BEEN NAMED FOR AN ANCESTOR ON THE COLLINS OR ROGERS SIDE... CATHERINE COLLINS and HENRY ROGERS my GGG Grandparents were married in Monroe Co., GA in 1826 where I found a copy of their marriage license. From census records I had already known that Catherine was from SC. I have pieced together a probable partial list of her siblings who were also born in SC. When I notified another researcher who also had been trying to figure out CATHERINE'S maiden name, he told me that he too had suspected a COLLINS connection. He said there was a family matching the description of CATHERINE and HENRY HAYDEN ROGERS' in the 1840 Marion Co., SC census. Below you will find the information I have pieced together. AUTREY, & GEORGE COLLINS all shown as neighbors of widowed CATHERINE in Murray Co., GA in 1850. They all were near CATHERINE'S age and ALL BORN IN SOUTH CAROLINA. GEORGE W.
