I am a direct descendant of NARCISSA COLLENS my 3rd great grand mother -- and MILTON MCCLELLAN married : 23 FEBRUARY 1825 Cabarrus County North Carolina Bondsman : SAMUEL ERWIN Witness : M. HUNT Searching for information about the parents and siblings of NARCISSA COLLENS. I have been researching for many years with no result to date. I believe she was born in 1803--judging by the N.C. Census of 1850-- Grassy Creek--Mitchell County N.C. Family oral history states she was Cherokee, but i have been unable to locate her on any of the Cherokee rolls.Narcissa apparently died between the census of 1850 and 1860.
