Hello Jan, sorry I can't help you with your Daniel Collins. My Collins line was in Pike Co KY ( early Floyd Co.) from 1809-1840 when my Meredith Collins died. As per the Dillon, my husband's folks came from Ireland ( Dillon and Doolan) where they got kicked out of the country for stealing horses....or so I am told. Brenda Collins Dillon
