John Collins, enlisted for 3 years, Co.A, 72nd Infantry January 26,1864 Chicago,IL by Capt. James, for 3 years; mustered in January 31, 1864. 27 years of age, 6'2 1/2" tall, brown hair, gray eyes, dark complexion, stone cutter, born Staten Island, New York Transferred to Co.A, 33rd Infantry per S.O.No.113, Hed.QRs, 16th Army Corps, Montgomery,Alabama, July 17, 1865. Died of an injury received by a fall at Vicksburg, Miss., October 11,1865 2. John Collins, enlisted Nov,25,1864 Joliet, IL, by Capt. Longworth for 1 year. Mustered in Nov. 29,1864. 29 years of age, 5'6", brown hair, hazel eyes, light complexion, laborer, b Ireland. 3. James Collins, enlisted Nov.29,1864. Jacksonville, IL by Capt. Fry for 1 year, mustered in Nov 29,1864. Residence Calhoun Co, IL. 34 years old, 5'5", black hair, black eyes, dark complexion, farmer. b. Scotland. 0 Margaret
