    3. Laura Lee Hash Runions NARROWS, Va. - Laura Lee Hash Runions, 73, of Narrows, died Wednesday, December 31, 1997 in the Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital, Pearisburg, Va. She was born at Comers Rock, Va., on May 16, 1924 and was the daughter of the late William McKinley and Cora Mays Hash. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister, Herman Hash of Peterstown and Lena COLLINS of Crockett, Va. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Narrows, and was a member and past worthy matron of Lakeland Chapter #74 O.E.S. of Narrows. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, William French "Bill" Runions; a son, Kenneth Lee Runions, Narrows; a brother and sister-in-law, W. Vance and Peggy Hash of Rural Retreat; a sisters and brothers-in-law, Clara and Norman Jacoby, Luthersville, Md., and Betty and Robert J. Monroe, Aitkin, Mn.; sisters-in-law, Virginia Hash, Peterstown, and Lola D. Runions, Narrows; nieces and nephews, William "Bill" Hash, Peterstown, Mrs. Patricia King, Rural Retreat, George Patrick Runions, Covington, Tenn., Brenda Martin, Narrows, James K. COLLINS, Kenosha, Wis., Mrs. Sharon Sexton, Crockett, Dale A. COLLINS, Wytheville, Cathy COLLINS, Marion, Mrs. Teresa Dix, Crockett, Gregory Hash, Rural Retreat, Joseph Hash, Rural Retreat, Richard Jacoby, Westminster, Md., David Jacoby, Abingdon, Va., Alan Monroe, Hampton, Conn., Lt. Scott Monroe, U.S.A.F. Great Falls, Mont., many grandnephews and nieces, and special friends, H. Benjamine and Jeanette Johnson, Narrows, Arnold W. "Pete" and Sherry Ferguson, Narrows, M.W. Runions, Williamsburg, Va., and many other family members and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Narrows with Rev. Chris Michael officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. A memorial service will be held at Riffe's Funeral Service, Narrows, Friday at 7 p.m. by Lakeland Chapter #74 O.E.S. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, Pew Cushion Fund, Memorial Boulevard, Narrows, VA 24124.
