WILLIAMS, Myrtle May, 89, of Eggleston, died peacefully at her home Saturday morning, January 24, 1998, in the loving care of her family. Born at Mt. Lake in Giles County on November 16, 1908, she was a daughter of the late Dave and Allie Williams COLLINS. She was a retired employee of Celanese Celco Plant and attended the Eggleston United Methodist Church. She was the wife of the late Russell Landon Williams. Surviving are her daughter, Estelle W. Falls of Eggleston; two granddaughters, Brenda (Mrs. Ronald) Perdue of Pearisburg and Juanita (Mrs. Dave) Sweeney of Eggleston; a great-granddaughter, Mary Sweeney of Eggleston; a great-grandson, Donald Whittaker of Eggleston; and a sister, Cora Belle Kirby of Salem. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, January 27, 1998 at 2 p.m. in Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke Monday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and other times at the home in Eggleston.
