RICHARDSON, Hattie Collins, 76, of Roanoke, died Sunday, January 11, 1998. She was preceded in death by a son, William Elzie Richardson. She was a charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and a member of Wildwood Grace Brethren Church. She is survived by her husband, William Edgar Richardson of Roanoke; two sons, Steve and Carlyle Richardson of Salem and Ray Dean and Joan Richardson of Rocky Mount, N.C.; two sisters, Alvie C. Doss of Chilhowie and Lottie Thomas of Manassas; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Richardson. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Tuesday at Lotz Salem Chapel, with the Rev. Juan Barr officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
