Wife: Susan, Children: John, Fannie, William, James, HEnry. I have researched and found this information. James A. Collins, born March 6, 1822, Warrenton, N. C. died Oct. 22,1883, Raleigh, N. C., married Susan Barnes in Granville County, N. C.. Children: John B. Collins, born April 10, 1845, married Indiana Georgia Royster Fannie Rebecca Collins, born Feb. 7,1848, married George Washington Wright William Preston Collins, born Dec. 3, 1851 in Warrenton, N. C. James Polk Collins * (my grandfather), married Ophelia Bobbitt Thomas Henry Collins, born Oct. 10, 1857, Oxford, N. C., married Nannie Link Mitchell.
