I'm looking for information on JOHN COLLINS and his family. He was born in Clay County, Kentucky, April, 1879. He married RACHEL (RACHAEL) GRAY, also of Clay County, probably 1899 or 1900. He died October, 1943, in Clay County. Here's where it gets complicated: I was told that COLLINS was John's mother's maiden name. The story goes that John and his father had a falling-out and John refused to use his father's surname, which I was told may be HENSLEY. The only other information I have is that John had a sister named Alice who married a HILTON or HELTON. My attempt at obtaining a death certificate for John was unsuccessful.
