I am searching for the ancestors of Mildred Collins who was born in North Carolina in July of 1849. Mildred can be found in the 1870 census of Stokes Co., NC with sister Eliza Jane and mother Diana (unknown maiden name) Collins. Notes in an old family book indicate that Mildred's father and Diana's husband was William Collins. Later, Mildred married Thomas Flenoy Dillon who was born 1851 and died in Sept. 1918 in High Point, NC. Any help with this brickwall would be appreciated. Thanks, Gary Shankle in Deer Park, Texas.
