While searching on ancestry.com, I saw where Mitchel Collins had several children including Morris - b. 1805, and James - b. 1812.  There was no further information on James other than that he was born in Albemarle, VA.  I had read in a book in TN that some of the people migrating to Hawkins Co, TN included Mitchel, Morris, and a James, Vadin, etc.  Our James Collins - b. 1812, married/divorced/ and then married Martha Cotton in Clay Co, KY, fits the date of Morris' brother, James.  If this is the correct James that we've been searching for, then his son, James #2 married Phoebe Ellen Collins, d/o Vadin Collins, s/o Morris Collins.  They would have been second cousins?  Anyone have any comments or information on this?
