As per usual, I am hitting on 2 Henry Linch in London, and I need to know if they are separate persons. Dale, Artes, -R, I want to concentrate on the Henry Linch in London. Artes, look up everything can on any Henry Linch(e)/Lynch(e) in London here. It is not by any chance that one [Henery Linck] or [Henrie Linche, Chr. 01-01-1587, St. Mary Whitechapel, Stepney, London, England] is m:14-05-1635 at [St. Peter le Poer, London, England] to [Sibel Colenes], she probably bp/chr:24-05-1604. It might be the case that Henry Linch is 17 years older than his wife. This [St. Mary Whitechapel Stepney] seems to have been just a small chapel. The surname of Kyng and French is well present all round. This gap in years for Hnery Linch + Sibill Colenes would explain much of the gap in TL if one Martha Collins of EC was her 'sister'. Either way round here, I am sensing a huge religous connection and possible royal lines of some sorts. Is this Henry Linch who m. Sibill Collens from Ireland ?. If you go down Broad Street, into Threadneelde Str., take a sharp right into Poultry into Cheapside, take a sharp left into Paternoster Row, take a sharp left into St. Paul's church yard rd., on your left is [Saint Faith Under Saint Paul, London] church. http://books.google.co.za/books?id=TihVtTulunkC&pg=PA348&lpg=PA348&dq=who+is+buried+inside+St.+Peter+le+Poer&source=bl&ots=jUPo4maX8o&sig=mRGK4wvM__EvQbtqtUFUrCgrDsg&hl=en&ei=omd5S9KEN9jNjAepm7G6Cg&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=7&ved=0CB0Q6AEwBg#v=onepage&q=&f=false Sir William Garraway a wealthy merchant, spent wods of cash on the restructuring of St. Peter le Poer church which took place between 1615-1630. He was buried inside this church. Likewise, Daniel Collins also contributed to this restructure of this church, and was also buried inside this church. The Moody + Pigott families were always close to each other. Thomas Moody the 12/13th Laird of Melsetter trekked to Rhodesia in the 1890's, and my one grt-uncle m.'ed one of his dg's. http://books.google.co.za/books?id=yjUMAQAAIAAJ&pg=PA2800&img=1&pgis=1&dq=Henry+Linch&sig=ACfU3U2Q-FgD7A3_BFT32s4VtCQUoPjYDA&edge=1 My first impression was that the Henry Linch who m. Sibill Colenes was this chap mentioned above. I suspect that this Sir Henry Linch is NOT the exact same person. One fact does remain: Sibill Linch is Martha Collins/Markham's ''sister''. Come on, let us find out who 'our' Henery Linch' is ?. And moreso, who are the parents of his wife Sibill. Many of this Linch family from Ireland were merchants, and I suspect a chap like [Nathaniel Linch, mariner, was bound to sea in the ship 'Sarah' of London] would be part of that group. - S.K.M. - [!!!] =====================
