Lawrence, I have this in my files. Look it over and let me know if it may be your Collins family. Gotta go... Judy in Pensacola Collins of Spartanburg 4/16/2001 11:00:40 Eastern Daylight Time Gayle1937 Dear Judi: I don't think that our Collins are related. My Collins were all founders of the Nazareth Presbyterian Church. I also have most of the children and Grandchildren. I do not have any Herbert in the children. My GGGGrandmother had her children in the same time period. I'll keep looking, but I know that there are a lot of Collins in that area that don't connect with ours. The children of Thomas and Rosannah Collins were: John Collins, married Elizabeth Brown-children were John, Thomas, Salley and Sarah; Richard Collins and William Collins both went to Kentucky and Missouri; Mary Collins who married White and left area; Alexander died young not married; Joseph Collins married Elizabeth Fleming and had Mary, Martha, Thomas, Ann Fleming, Rebecca Wells, Andrew Fleming, William Austin, Nancy Thompson, & Joseph A. Jr.; Jane Collins who married Willliam B. Austin; Nancy Agnes Collins who married Alexander Thompson and my GGGGrandmother Francis Collins who married Valentine Allen. Hope this helps you.
