There are a couple of participants who descend from Vardy Collins in the Collins DNA Study at Relative Genetics. Both of them expected to see Indian heritage in their DNA results. We were surprised to see that both participants showed paternal ancestry showing European markers. In other words, Vardy's male ancestors were initially white Europeans. Therefore, if American Indian Heritage came into play, perhaps it came from his maternal line. It would be interesting to see results from others in Vardy's line. I wish I had more answers but seems that the more I learn, the more questions I have. Rose
