I'm looking for information about a Margaret Collins who lived in Southeastern (Clay, Leslie, Knox, Harlan, Co., etc.) Kentucky. In the spring (approx. April) of 1878 or 1879, she gave birth to a son named John. I do not know the name of John's father. I was told she bore him out-of- wedlock. I don't know if Collins was her maiden name, if she had been married and then widowed/divorced. A relative stated they thought she may have had a brother named Cicero.
