Has anyone come across a COLLINS family link to this particular THOMPSON family? My ancestor was Erasmus Thompson Collins born 1819 KY married to Susan Willoughby on 15 May 1850 Mason Co KY. I *believe* his father was Aquilla Collins, but only have his participation in some court documents to support that (no will). I have no idea who Aquilla Collins' wife was or where they came from, but I suspect Maryland. With the name of Erasmus Thompson Collins I would suspect that there is a family tie in of some sort, but have never been able to find it. Other children of Aquilla (I *think*) are: Mason Collins born 1812, Milton J Collins born 1815, America Collins born @ 1823, John T. Collins born 1829 & Rebecca Collins born 1795. Hoping someone can prove or disprove this line. I've never come across anyone else researching this line of Collins.
