    1. [COLLINS] Some Notes [!!!]
    2. TW
    3. MGC: I have little doubt that the William Markham (1621) of NE will be related quite closely to DDM at least via marriages. But saying that, it still seems you have the correct DDM as you have it coming out of EC. The other problem I am having is still more incorrect trees. These Abigail Collins form part of that it seems. There is also a continual drawing to Yorks too for several families as well as Kent. It seems Bramford fell under Norfolk for church circles. this is why we find related persons in Norwich Norfolk such as Cory etc. This Acton family is in Ipswich, and then they buy the Manor of Bramford from Eldred and Whitmore. === Marriages at St. Thomas the Apostle: 1571. *** John Acton & Joaue Bedell. 1576. *** Walter Ciynch & Alice Turner. [Not sure of surname: Lynch ?]. 1589. *** Richard Baylie & Elizabeth Adams. 1628. *** Tho. Dixon, gent., & Jane Acton, widow. 1581. *** Tymothy Wheeler & Elizabeth Hitchcocke. === In 1625 I think it is, a John Collins is still living in Bramford, and he would be the brother of Daniel Collins of London. It seems he must have spent his early life in and around London, but his family did have have this half acre plot of land here in Bramford. His brother was obviously well off in London, and so after their mother died, John must have come back to Bramford to live there. This John Collins should be the father of Sibbill and Martha Collins. This Green family must also have quite some further relationship around here too, probably to earlier Acton. The simple pattern is clear that Acton-Collins-Bedell-Turner-Wheeler-Hitchcocke-Baylie-Adams-Etc., are probably seriously related just a gen or two back in TL. There people are all related, in a big circle. One of these closely associated persons in Bramford I think it is, married the sister of the President of Ireland. So there is this huge Government-Municipal connection all round. William Acton, [Portman of Ipswich EN] is also a weaver? too it seems. And in [1597: Treasurer of Ipswich]. In Ipswich: [Treasurer of Ipswich: 1597 - John Ward; 1573 - Christopher Ward]. [Manor of Bramford purchased by Wm. Acton of Ipswich in 1611 from John Eldred and Wm. Whitmore for £960.]. This William Markham Marchant of Ipswich whose wife is clearly that Abigail Markham alias Marchant of Ipswich: This is Ipswich in Suffolk England not far from Bramford. I need to know who these people are !. Dale + Artes + Others: Can we look into this, we do need to know.... William Wagger who d:1625, in his will at the bottom: [John Wagger to be exor. Wit. Lawrence Sharpe, John Collins]: This is the John Collins who should be the father of Sibbill + Martha Collins. This JC would be about 50(+) years old by now. This William Wagger has three children: John, Abigail, and Mary Wagger. - S.K.M. - [!!!] ========================
