Hi, Just joined the Collins list today..... Do we have any list members with Collins family ties to the New Haven, Connecticut area??? My Collins were born in/near Rosscarberry - Clonakilty, Co, Cork. John Collins (c. 1843) marries Mary Hickey (c.1850) Children of John & Mary = -Cornelius -Patrick (married a Bridget Riordan)(moved to Waterbury) -James (moved to East Haven, CT) -Thomas -John (youngest son) -Hannah (married a Finn who latered dies) -Mary (married a Foley) -Annie (youngest daughter) (Nurse // married a Sullivan from Chicago) All arrived in New Haven from the mid 1890's till 1909. Uncles of John Collins (c. 1843) settled in the Keyport, New Jersey area. Opened a brick yard. Anyone connected to these collins?? John W.
