Did anyone from that line intermarry with MOores, Alexanders, Binghams, Lackeys, Whites, Osborns? Jill LackAssc@execpc.com >>>>>> Hi Brenda, I can give just one little bit of help;Suzannah Cline was the first wife of my g.g. grandfather Frederick Trent, jr., and was the mother of my g.grandfather, Humphrey Trent. Alifair Lambert was Fred jr's second wife. Humphrey and Alifair were the same age. Frederick married Alifair when she was around 18, and he was approximately 54. I believe that I remember that Frederick Trent, jr, and Alifairs parents were neighbors in McDowell County. Alifair is buried at the national cemetery in Grafton, W.Va. Later and any time, Jerry Warsing Brenda, The only two times in my life that I have seen the name Euorkia used by early American settlers has been the daughter of John W. Collins, And the last daughter of Humphrey Trent and his wife , Arminda Collins Trent. As you know I'm sure, until just recently most favored names have been passed down from one generation to the next as a way of honoring, and keeping the memory of the preceding loved one. Euorkia is a Gypsy name. Arvid is also a favored Trent name, as well as Collins; It's Jewish. Sampson is also very prevalent in my Trent line, as the Collins. Sampson was one of the leaders of the people who settled Roanoke Island. Just one more thing now: Alifair Lambert, the second wife of Frederick Trent jr., had a dark complexion, according to my mother. later, jerry warsing Jerry can be reached for comments at oceanye@nottowayez.net also check the TIMELINE out at this site The Patrin - Romani (Gypsy) Death Rituals and Customs Hope this helps somebody, Brenda
