Hi: I am trying to track down information on Robert Collins who lived in Culpeper Co VA and Franklin Co KY. I have the following (abbreviated) info on his descendants in Taylor and Green Co in KY. Note that where I have wive's names, I also have children if anyone wants the info: 1. Robert Collins married Mildred ___ Settled in Franklin County, KY about 1801 - appears on tax list 1805 - 1806 with his sons. Joined 8th VA Regiment of Foot commanded by Col. James Wood in April 1779, served until November 1779, the last time his name appears on the muster rolls. 1801 Franklin County, KY tax list shows he had 140 acres on Benson Creek, 5 horses, 10 slaves and 1 son over 16 years of age. He married Mary Ann BOURNE (d/o William Bourne and Susannah DeJARNETTE) on September 17, 1811 in Franklin Co KY. He died March 24, 1834 in Franklin Co KY. He married his first wife's niece, Mary Ann RICHERSON (d/o Jonathon RICHERSON and Frances LIVELY) in Green Co KY on May 16, 1861 in Taylor Co KY. Mary Ann RICHERSON was the widow of Washington Walter JARBOE and she married twice more after the death of Thomas Dudley Collins. TANDY Thomas Dudley Collins and Mary Ann RICHERSON had no children Henry Harrison Collins, son of Thomas Dudley Collins, was born on Feb 3, 1857. He married Joanne "Josie" VAN CLEAVE (d/o Joseph E. Van Cleave and Magdeline McDowell SMITH) at the Shilo Church in Taylor Co on Dec. 15, 1880. Will dated August 7, 1931 - Taylor Co. Will Book 3, page 153, No. 151 - Proven October 5, 1931. Left To children Edna HOSKINS, Bessie PATTERSON and Alma MINGUS to share equally. To grandson Henry Lee NOE a gold watch and to grandson Charley HOSKINS a ring (which he wore). Exec. was J. H.
