Hi: My Most wanted is Robert Collins of VA - married Mildred Unknown around 1781. They were in Franklin Co KY by 1801. During the Revolution he joined 8th VA Regiment of Foot commanded by Col. James Wood in April 1779, served until November 1779, the last time his name appears on the muster rolls . Certificate was issued in 1784 for 18 lbs, 10 shillings and 1 pence for his service. He never applied for a pension. 1801 Franklin County, KY tax list shows he had 140 acres on Benson Creek, 5 horses, 10 slaves and 1 son over 16 years of age.
