I've been looking for Minerva Collins for over 10 years. I know she married George Washington Ward about 1837. They lived in Fayette Co., TN; Rockingham Co and Guilford Co., both in NC and in Rhea Co., TN where they were on the census in 1880. He died sometime after that, and the family story is that she went back to NC to care for her parents, leaving her grown children in TN. Isn't anyone missing Minerva from their family tree? Have not been able to locate a marriage record, which could indicate she was Indian. Ida
