My great grandfather William COLLINS came to Grantham, Ontario, Canada in 1871 as an orphan. He was born in England 1859 and his father's name is John Collins.The brick wall is that for 11 years I have been researching a Collins family originating from Buckingham, Eng. This summer I received 2 pieces of information from a Stats Can pre-war 1940 registration in which both sons say William, who had died in 1934, was born in 2 different places which is not this Buckingham family! This sure throws my 11 years of research out the window. I am wracking my brain for answers to this puzzle and don't know what to do next. What would you do?
