COTTRILL, b: ca. 1835, d: aft. 1900 Their children (as shown in Gilmer Co.,census records): Maranda M., b: circa 1849 Andrew J., b: circa 1850 Jemina, b: circa 1851, d: 4-May-1906-Weston, WV. Issac Lon, b: 15-Oct-1852, d: 4-Feb-1941-Gilmer Co. William W., b: circa 1853 Mary M., b: circa 1855 Rachel A., b: 1860 Carolina Manerva, b: 1864 Ollie C.P. II, b: July-1866 My research INDICATES the following parentage: Oliver C.P. COLLINS may be the son of William COLLINS (1795-1875) & Elizabeth WIANT (1800-1862). William & Elizabeth married in Harrison Co. on 5-Apr-1819. William lived next door to Oliver in the 1860 Gilmer Co., census. Caroline M. COTTRILL may be the daugher of Lowther COTTRELL (VA.) & Arrena. IF...these are true, I have more information on these families & would like to talk to others from these roots.
