My most wanted Collins is still my Grandfather, Jeff D. Collins. He was born about 1861 in Winnfield, LA. I know this from notation on my Father's death certificate. The only record I have found for Jeff is in 1900 when he was listed on the LA census with his wife Donie Oglesby Collins and their children, Martha, David, Matthew and Homer. In 1910 Donie is listed as a widow, but another child was listed - Pearlie - who was born about 1902.
