SLAUGHTER, PEARSON, COMFORT, Salvin (Sylvanus) COLLINS. My ancestor, born about 1840 in Indiana was named Slaughter J. COLLINS. He was in the Civil War and married Eliz Comfort PEARSON. Her parents were from KY also.
