    3. Hey Alice: I'm searching for a Pinkney Quinn Collins born 1819, North Carolina for decades. Would you happen to know Hezekiah Collins' children listed in his application. Would be most appreciative. Trish Collins Dear Laura and Jackie May I put in a two cents worth here? There is a Rev. War pension application record for a Hezekiah Collins. He said he served as a private in the Cont. line from Virginia, enlisting in Albermarle County, Virginia in 1777. He was applying for a pension from Union Township, Madison County, Ohio [14 May 1832]. His application was denied because no record of his name could be found as serving in Virginia. I hope this can help either or both of you. Alice

    3. The Rev. War pension record didn't name any of his family, just were he remembered serving, where he lived. I have a file of research done for pay on southern Collins families done by a fellow, Leonardo Andrea. I found this file at a Mormon Family History Center years ago and copied it off. There was only one item that was not true and that was on my family. The rest is mostly census, court records, land records, etc. If you contact me off site I will send you the file via attachment. It's a pretty big file. sanders922@comcast.net -------------------------------------------------- From: "trishw4" <trishw4@cox.net> Sent: Friday, October 15, 2010 12:44 PM To: <collins@rootsweb.com> Subject: [COLLINS] Hezekiah Collins 1810-1886 > Hey Alice: I'm searching for a Pinkney Quinn Collins born 1819, North > Carolina for decades. 3. Trish Your Pickney Quinn went to Wayne county Missouri. His wife Mary died or was not listed on the 1860 census but there was a daughter Elizabeth one year old. According to other researchers [Google "Pickney Quinn Collins"], Pickney was shot 1862. The census records Henderson O., William A., Martha E., and Joseph children in the family in addition to Elizabeth. There was also a Berry Collins, also born NC, that stayed close to Pinkney in each census. A good bet they might be related? -------------------------------------------------- From: "Alice Sanders" <sanders922@comcast.net> Sent: Friday, October 15, 2010 2:37 PM To: <collins@rootsweb.com> Subject: Re: [COLLINS] Hezekiah Collins 1810-1886 > The Rev.
