Name of The Treasurer and Company of Adventurers and Planters of the City of London, for the first Colony in Virginia. === Just about every body is here in these London Companies. There is so much I can hardly point it out. But one can also note that there were companies of shoe makers and barbers, so don't knock the shoe makers (!!!). Bristol is clearly a place to go, many many pointers the whole time. There is one of your Whitmores, the same chap I might add, some persons are in more than one company, there is the 'Yeomans' surname, a John Hopkins the Alderman of Bristol, etc. Wods (!!!). But reading the url info, you can see it says that all of these people were part of the Virginia settlements. No wonder I kept on feeling like I was in Virginia the whole time. I can only assume that at least or so of this Markham line I am looking into, might have more connections to these famous people in London. Many of the 'other' or 'unresearched' or 'unlinked' family persons are going to be found here in London, or connect there somehow. For DDM: Names like Thomas, William, John, Nathaniel Markham are ones to look for. - S.K.M. - [!!!] =======================
