I am searching for the parents of my ggggrandfather Solomon Collins. He was born in Ash Co., NC on 6 Nov. 1813. He married Mary Hollingsworth in Clay Co., KY on 21 July 1844. Mary was born in 1824, probably Clay Co., she was the daughter of Mary and Beasley Hollingsworth. Solomon died 5 Nov 1891 in Clay Co., KY. Solomon served as a meedic for the Union during the Civil War. I have a copy of pension papers. Their children were John, Solomon, Nancy, Levi, Sarah, Lucinda, Lewis Anderson and Andrew Jackson.
