My most wanted Collins is confirmation on the parents of one William J./T. (Also called Squire 'Buck') Collins b. Aug 16, 1862(?) in Tennessee (probably Rutherford/Davidson Co). He married Roxana S.L. Archer Sept 7, 1877 in Rutheford Co., Tennessee. He was my grandfather. He died between Jan 1898 and 1900 between Indian Territory and Avoca Township, Pottattomie Co, Ok. Territory following a river crossing. In the 1890 Chickasaw Nation census, he was living in Mannsville, next to Alexander Archer, his brother-in-law. He and his wife had another child, per census records, who died before coming to OK. William's parents are possibly Jeremiah and Priscilla Archer, however, have beenunable to confirm. In Tennessee, the family is listed as Mulatto or Black. The family is with a 'clique' who are reported to have migrated from Bertie/Hertford Co, NC area and from VA prior to that.
