COY E. PARSONS FLATWOODS _ Coy E. Parsons, 78, of Burnsville, died Friday, Dec. 26, 1997, at his daughters residence in Youngstown, Ohio, following a short illness. He was born May 6, 1919, in Gilmer, a son of the late Edward Parsons and Florence White Parsons. His wife, Helen COLLINS Parsons, whom he married on Jan. 12, 1953, survives. Also surviving are seven daughters, Charlotte Hough, Salem, Ohio, Shirley Anzianzo, Canfield, Ohio, Judy Yunek, Ogma, Wis., Pat Paterson, Sebring, Ohio, Jo Fishel, Youngstown, Jewell Mailis, Campbell, Ohio, and Janet White, Nicut; five sons, John Fincham, Talmadge, Ohio, Jim Fincham, Austin, Ohio, Jack Fincham, Columbiana, Ohio, Jimmy Parsons, Nicut, and Johnny Parsons, Oklahoma; one sister, Ora Blake, Gilmer; 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Parsons was retired from Grieff Brothers Industries in Youngstown, a veteran of World War II and a member of Burnsville Veterans of Foreign Wars. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. today at Stockert-Gibson Funeral Home, Flatwoods, where the funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Ronzel Roberts officiating.
