Jean Blackwood Collins Jean Blackwood Collins, 75, of Nitro died March 29, 1997, in General Division, CAMC, after a short illness. She was a retired Kanawha County school librarian with 30 years' service at Dunbar, DuPont, St. Albans and Nitro, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of St. Albans, West Virginia Archives and Cultural Center, West Virginia Education Association, National Education Association and National Librarian Association. Surviving: sons, Steven Lee of Martinsville, Va., Kenneth Alan of Fort Myers, Fla.; sister, Phyllis Gillispie of Nitro; granddaughter, Jennifer Ambler. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church of St. Albans with Pastor Jim Walther officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans.
