My Collins family started in Merrin Parish, Brunswich Co VA in the 1800s. Littleberry Collins had at least two sons, John and Hamlin. Hamlin was born in 1805 and is my gr grandfather. He moved with his family to Halifax Co NC. He is listed in the 1840 census for Halifax Co NC.
