Hi Collins Searchers, I am searching for any information or connections to three Collins men who lived in Richmond County, NC in the 18th century , Jeremiah, Elisha, and George Collins. The earliest I have is George Collins (born about 1725) through a deed transaction for land in Anson County, NC in 1764. There are two other Collins men by the names of John Collins and Thomas Collins in with land transactions in the 1750's Anson County, and I would love to learn how they relate to my lines. There are many other family names in Richmond County, some migrated to middle Tennessee in the early 1800's, while others appear to have stayed in the general region of Richmond County.
