Mrs. Collins worked as a volunteer for United Hospital in Port Chester. She was born in Port Chester on August 10, 1936 to the late Raymond and Gertrude O'Toole. She graduated from Port Chester High School and attended Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. for three years. She is survived by two sons, John and Ra Cardinali and a daughter Kathy Williams. Visitation is at the James J Gunipero Funeral Home on Friday from 6 to 8pm. The funeral is on Saturday at Our Lady of MErcy Church in Port Chester. I'm looking for the Collins family that lived in Osawatamie, KS. I don't know what county that is. The father was James Collins, the mother I can't recall, the son was Marion F. and the daughter was Mildred. Is ANYONE related to these people? Marion F. graduated from KU, was a photographer and worked for the Associated Press. He was invited to the White House on several occasions to take photos for the paper. He never married. He died before 1980. Mildred worked in a bank, was married for a short time to a man named Carter. They had no children. She graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1915. She and her brother both died in Kansas City, MO. She in 1987 at age 90. I have photos of this famiy and their farm and the parents. My Collins line is also from Boston. My great-grandfather was Dennis Collins of Ireland who married Margaret Cliggett, of Doneraile, Co Cork. Dennis and Margaret married in London in 1866, had two children there (William and Mary) and, after arriving in Boston in 1873, had a son Thomas who is my grandfather. At the time of their marriage, the best man was Patrick Collins. I do not have any information on Patrick Collins but am searching for any info. that anyone else may have.
