I believe Stephen Collins who was born somewhere in Kentucky may have married his first wife also from Kentucky and moved to Henry County, Illinois (near Weller)where daughters, Emiline b. 1841 and Clarissa, b. 1834 as well as other children were born to the couple. I'm not sure if Clarissa was actually a sister but the two women married their respective spouses within a few days of one another, and are shown living in close proximity all of their married lives. Clarissa married an Irishman named Luke Carrigan and Emiline married an Italian immigrant by the name of John Thomas Belt. The women's mother (my gggrandmother) may have died around 1848-49 as Stephen married Ann Fenn (b. 1830 in Illinois) in Henry County Illinois in 1849. The Belts, The Carrigans and Stephen and Annie Collins along with several children all removed by covered wagons to Jackson Twp, Macon County, Missouri around 1866 where they lived out their lives. Emiline passed away in 1876 and her husband John Belt is said to have later married her younger sister, Nancy (Jane) Collins who was born in 1850 in Illinois. I cannot find an 1850 or 1860 Census for a Stephen Collins from Kentucky, living in Illinois where all his children were born. If anyone has information of knowledge on this family, I would appreciate hearing from them. Emiline Collins was my great-great grandmother and I would like to trace this line but have so little to go on.
MGC: The Collen and DDM researchers should make good note of this post. I can see much of the picture, I just don't have all the info I require. This John Marcum m1. Elizabeth Harris and m2. Alice Little, I would ''think'' that he would have some at some association to families connected to your Jas Markeham + Abrm Marke of EC. His TL is completely perfect too. Also any Marcum in Colchester must be sought. The Collen family is huge in its connections to positions such as Aldermen, Bailiffs, etc. I also suspect there are many people in the region of grandchildren from Colchester living in EC after 1600. We can make good note of one of the few outward movements from EC is to Wethersfield where the Mott family was connected to the church there with that Stephen Marshall chap, and then Matthew Markham m. Margaret Lan [Luan] in Myland (Mile End) in Colchester. Let us take a look at Colchester for a while: The Christmas (Crissemasse?) family has deep roots in Colchester. I suspect EC became a Haven for persons kicked out of their positions etc. Jas Markham of EC lives on the same piece of land as one John Christmas. Richard Harris preaching in Colchester: This Richard Harris is almost undoubtedly related to the Harris family in NE I would ''think'' ?. Richard Harris was well acquainted with this John Christmas of Colchester. *** Alderman Robert Mott left money to both (Richard?) Harris and Newcomen, Mott's widow. Here Robert Mott leaves money to Harris, who is Mott's widow married to ?. *** Alderman of Colchester John Mayken (Served 33yrs). *** John Christmas in Colchester L:1600 or so. [Connected Persons]: Alderman from St. Peter's: John Pye, John Byrde, Martin Basell. [L:1593]. I don't know just yet, but I suppose that would then be St. Peter le Poer back in London ?. Surprise (!!!). Back to St. Peter's where the merchant Daniel Collens family connects to the Francklyn (Goldsmith) and Taylor (Tylor) families etc. and Sparke too. We are right back to St. Peters (!!!-!!!-!!!). Here too, one must notice this John Byrde. I can only suspect that this might form part of some connection to that one Martha Collens in a previous post of mine living just north of Ipswich I think it was. I need to go back to my notes somewhere, but she was the dg of one John Collens m. to one Bird was it ?. One Mott was also the town preacher of Ipswich remember ?. And we have Richard Harris made the town preacher of Colchester in the early 1590's. That famous John Locke chap should also fit somehow too. Locke might also be spelt Lok and possibly Loker (???), last one not sure just yet. There is also 'Marks'' too. *** Alderman of Colchester John Mayken (33yrs). [Seems Mayken will be a Dutch family ?]. [Mayken might mean ''Little Mary'']. Alderman Executors of Colchester: Thomas Lawrence 1594. William Buxston 1546. The Buxton family will connect to the Collens and Acton family of Bramford I suppose. Robert Talcott b:1565 in Colchester, Essex, England, bur:16-08-1641. He was Bailiff; Alderman; J.P. Mayor of Colchester. John married Dorothy Mott. Dorothy was born in 1592 in Braintree, Essex, England. [Taylecoat]. William Turner of Colchester. Senior Bailiff Robert Mott. [John Pye]. *** *** ***: 20, infra. Deed of John Bacon and Mary, his wife - late wife of Richd. Straunge, Esquire, - and others, made to Thomas Cristemesse and others. Alderman John Clere helped John Mayken and his wife Agnes sell a house earlier than the terms of her late husband's will had specified. The house was sold to Alderman John Christmas, so the needs of several town leaders were served in the transaction. 1516: John Maykens, Bailiff. [Elsewhere]: John Bocher, Fishmonger. These unusual or uncommon names are easier to follow or realize like the name Daniel Markham before 1660. So there is this ''Flemish church'' in Colchester too. This [The Oath Book or Red Parchment Book of Colchester] should be copied from the net into text file and go through it (OCR text). C1 also seems to have some great connection to one St. Botolph's in London?. There is another Edward Collins around or coming into Braintree/EC area, but a separate cousin it seems. There seems to be one Henry Collens in London probably brother to John Collens Salter + Sail Maker, or thereabouts. The Thomas Collens Alderman is just part of this web of Aldermen etc. There seems to be a lot to be found in C1. Even Jas Markham was a Deputy Constable? of EC at one time. This Wick or Wyk family is in C1 too. Lawrence surname a possibility too to DDM lines?. I have no doubt whatsoever ? that the Turnor family in C1 is part of the upper lines of the Turner family in EC. That seems even obvious to me right now. The chances that [1702 Susan MARKHAM & Robert HARISON Myland] is part of the DDM lineage is virtually 100%. Mathew Markham, [Wethersfield Essex] m:1674 at [Myland, Colchester] to [Margaret Lan][Luan?]. This would make his probable dg Susan Markham about <-28 yrs old when she got m. to Robert Harison. I am placing Susan Markham as the dg of Matthew Markham of Myland with only one single [?]. I am not sure what a 'Bocher' is, but usually alongside fishmongers, so I can only suspect it could be a 'Butcher' ?. *** Adam Mott is first heard of in 1645, when he was of New .... New York, and an alderman, married Deborah Lawrence. This should be part of this same Mott family from C1 to Braintree area where there is one Adam Mott, and the now known occurrence of Lawrence. *** John Birde, Ralph Northey, aldermen and justices of the peace within the borough, John Pye, Robert Mott, Martin Bessell and Thomas Reynolde, aldermen, ... *** ***: To be of note (Maybe?): OK, I have just looked one option up here: John Collyn, [Woolpit Suffolk] m. MGC: I have little doubt that the William Markham (1621) of NE will be related quite closely to DDM at least via marriages. But saying that, it still seems you have the correct DDM as you have it coming out of EC. The other problem I am having is still more incorrect trees. These Abigail Collins form part of that it seems. There is also a continual drawing to Yorks too for several families as well as Kent. It seems Bramford fell under Norfolk for church circles. this is why we find related persons in Norwich Norfolk such as Cory etc. This Acton family is in Ipswich, and then they buy the Manor of Bramford from Eldred and Whitmore. === Marriages at St. Thomas the Apostle: 1571. *** John Acton & Joaue Bedell. 1576. *** Walter Ciynch & Alice Turner. [Not sure of surname: Lynch ?]. 1589. *** Richard Baylie & Elizabeth Adams. 1628. *** Tho. Dixon, gent., & Jane Acton, widow. 1581. *** Tymothy Wheeler & Elizabeth Hitchcocke. === In 1625 I think it is, a John Collins is still living in Bramford, and he would be the brother of Daniel Collins of London. It seems he must have spent his early life in and around London, but his family did have have this half acre plot of land here in Bramford. His brother was obviously well off in London, and so after their mother died, John must have come back to Bramford to live there. This John Collins should be the father of Sibbill and Martha Collins. This Green family must also have quite some further relationship around here too, probably to earlier Acton. The simple pattern is clear that Acton-Collins-Bedell-Turner-Wheeler-Hitchcocke-Baylie-Adams-Etc., are probably seriously related just a gen or two back in TL. There people are all related, in a big circle. One of these closely associated persons in Bramford I think it is, married the sister of the President of Ireland. So there is this huge Government-Municipal connection all round. William Acton, [Portman of Ipswich EN] is also a weaver? too it seems. And in [1597: Treasurer of Ipswich]. MGC: Elizabeth Whitmore's father is Francis Whitmore. But I am currently seeing that William Whitmore as probably part of that same family line. The one [Sir George Whitmore (Lord Mayor of London 1631-2)] is closely related to him it seems, and I think this George Whitmore gets placed in chookie. This Whitmore family is in London and Yorks I think it is (Apley ?). Some of these associated people seem to go to VA, and you might want to add that early VA Henrie Collins to your list of Collins for further research +-R. Below I have made a quick selection of notes which seem to show quite some pattern here in London and to the mayors of London. I suggest you keep and print this post because sooner or later you will have to go through them all to see how they all are related to each other. Make good note of all the surnames mentioned here and wherever else you see them come up again. One truly needs to use say Google Maps and actually look up every place name, and you will clearly see the closeness of these people here in the L1 area of London, in fact, some literally living on the same block (!!!). I can only suspect Benjamin Franklin's line must also connect to this L1 area of London too ?. But you can notice just how high flying some of these people are here in L1 Mayors area. Make exceptional note that [St. Edmund-the-King Lombard Street] is in the same short road as [St. Mary Woolnoth Lombard Street] (!!!). John Eldred 1604 Mayor of London, that must be a hit. This Bond family must be further sought and understood. Straight after John Eldred and then William Bond, none other than one William Mott, who undoubtedly must connect to the Mott family associated with Earls Colne, must be a hit (Mark Mott). We know that this Collins family in here in London with Acton, and also directly connected to Bramford in Suffolk. Sir William Acton's sole dg an heiress marries none other than one Sir Thomas Whitmore the nephew of Sir George Whitmore Lord Mayor of London (Now in Chookie !!!). Samuel Cranmer not long after. And then one Philip Franklyn who m. Johanna Rose dg of Thomas Rose fishmonger of London, who must undoubtedly must be exceptionally of near kin to the Thomas Rose of Exmouth Devon, or the same person ?. I think there is a huge lot in this post to say the least. The basic frame is there, it just needs a lot of filling in. Martha Collins of EC's father will be a John Collins/Collens. But he does move a bit. One will need to make a list of all known Martha Collins dg of any John Collins any where for reasonable TL. At this point in TL, you still have the correct Daniel Markham from EC. One thing it seems, both Collins - Whitmore - Francklyn - Acton trees will eventually turn out to have some seriously interesting family connections, etc. But I think that aire of expectation has always been there. This one John Collins of London could/should be Daniel Collins brother one would think ?. Sibbell Colenes is born in London, but Johne Collens is only in that one spot/place for maybe one year or so, and seems to move elsewhere. There is only one single Sibbell Colenes record I know of, but apart from that, it has to be her. She m. Henery Linch, a clerk of sorts in London L1 area. She visits her ill sister Martha ''Goodwife'' Markham in EC. So that is the proof from primary record. I am happy with that. Good enough for me. So we need to better identify this Johne Collens, and where is it he went to ?. There is something missing here that is upsetting everything. MGC: [(*****): Bargain and sale (for £960) by John Eldred and Wm. Whitmore, Esqs. of London to Wm. Acton, gent., of Ipswich of manor of Bramford with its rents and rights and property. 20 Jan 1611/12.]: In 1612, William Whitmore actually buys land right here in Bramford. He is quite often mentioned alongside John Eldred, probably related. This seems to be quite a high ranking Whitmore family too, as well as Acton. Also coming out from Bramford is John Sicklemore/Ratcliffe [!!!]. The early one d:1610, and he was Governor of Virginia, and remember that Robert Markham 'Mariner' was with him. [John Sicklemore alias Ratcliffe, Captain of the Diamond now bound for Virginia]. But the slightly later one: [... which were given unto John Sicklemore Esq. and me, the said Thomas Griggs, by Abigail Markham als Marchant of Ipswich widow, ...]. After further review, the ''als'' finally means ''alias''. I suspect she was the wife of this William Markham, Merchant of Ipswich. We clearly need to know who these people are (!!!). [Sentence of Abigail Markham, Widow of Preston Saint Mary, Suffolk 25 February 1662 PROB 11/307.] [Will of William Markham, Merchant of Ipswich, Suffolk 31 October 1660 PROB 11/300.] Dale + Artes: Can we get the texts for both these items here above ?. === [* William Acton, of Bramford Hall, Suff. Esq.; Whitmore Acton of Aldenham, Salop, Esq.]: Probably both related and connected to Bramford. Also: From my last 2 posts, it seems that the Abigail Collens (or her dg !!!) mentioned alongside John and Daniel Collens, is NOT the one who goes to NE. [Abigaill Heart, widow of Robert Hart]; [Abigall (widow of Robt. Hart), now wife of Samuel Petts]. This Abigail lives to at least [1643] (???). Mye Goodye Cosynes [!!!], [Speculative Post]: Dale, where are you when your Country needs you ?. I think I am seeing things again Artes !!!. My working database is just that. Now tell me Artes, Dale, +-R, is this correct ?: One William Acton [Portman of Ipswich EN] [d:29-11-1616 aet 76yrs] has (at least) two children: 1. Lydia Acton. 2. John Acton, Esq. [Bramford]. I ''think'' this is THE John Acton of Bramford !!!. John Acton's sister Lydia Acton m. John Ward [Rector of St. Clement's Ipswich EN] [!!!] [!!!] [!!!]. Here is the interesting part: This: John Ward [Rector of St. Clement's Ipswich EN], has a brother none other than Nathaniel Ward [Haverhill (Essex) - Ipswich (MA)]. This NW has a brother Samuel Ward, BD DD [Famous Preacher Ipswich] [b:1572, d:1643] who m. Deborah Leech [Bolton], and for this SW I have a side note: [Men.: Edward Markham, Samuel Ward, John Davenant]. Who is this Edward Markham ?. Also from my previous post, there is the first mention of Whitmore back in England, there is a Wm. Whitmore and also a George Whitmore, probably father and son or close. - S.K.M. - [!!!] ====================
Mye Goodye Cosynes !!! I can not recall if I posted this before, but here goes. We know from past Markham research, that usually people mentioned nearby, are often related in some way. And from earlier mentions of familiar names we find a prequel to later events. This must be what we will find here today. One would want to follow through on all of these references if one could. In 1686, Daniel Mott was paid three pounds by the parish of Chesham for 'keeping Henry Hawkins when he was distracted'.]: I suspect this Mott is part of the picture too. This is up towards Tring. [John Collins, of Tower Street, London, Gent., Widr, about 36, & Martha Austin, Spr, ab' 21 ; consent of father William Austin, Esq., of S' Margaret's.]: A slightly later Collins. -SKM- ===================
MGC: http://seax.essexcc.gov.uk/result_details.asp?intOffSet=0&intThisRecordsOffSet=2 In no other place than Braintree Essex, is there another one of these' Hospitals' being setup in 1625 by none other than Samuel Collins and Mark Mott. This would be Samuel Collins Vicar of Braintree, and that these Hospitals were being put in place primarily via the Collins family line, and therefore it is of no surprise to see the Samuel Collins signature first on the list. - S.K.M. - [!!!] ==================
MGC: === -R: You would want to make a proper list of all the primary info I am putting out, and make sure to mark out the ones I point out to be short listed as probable ancestors [*] of yours. So far, many Collens stem from London out to Essex. From long back posts, we know Abraham Markham of EC is connected to the PRENTICE family there. We also know that Abraham Markham + Jas Markham Weaver are never far away from each other, even in all lists they are always just a few names apart, both of their marriages are on the same page in the register entry book, [JM m:11-10-1632; AM m:27-06-1633], and that both JM + AM had some feud to one and the same person from Colchester I think it was, and that there must be further associations between these families. We also know the surname of Collens will be variously spelt in London such as Collins, Collyns, etc., and that a huge contingent of this Collens family will be found in this [L1] area of London, we seem to come back here every single time. The item that catches my eye first is this one: [*****1] [Q/SR 41/72 Recognizance: John COLLENS [Collyn] of St. Margaret Pattens, London, goldsmith, John Prentice and Robert Buntynge [Buntinge] of Colne-Engaine, husbandman, for the said John COLLENS to keep the peace towards Hugh Polleye of the same and William Isack of Alphamstone, Henry Clarcke of Lamarsh, John Fynche of Colne Engaine, and John Kebell [Keble] of Chappel, all husbandmen. [See 41/84]. 10 September 1572.] Well, St. Margaret Pattens, London is in the L1 region of London, if you are in Old Broad Street, take a sharp L into Threadneelde, a sharp R into Bishopgate, becomes Gracechurch Street, take a sharp L into Eastcheap Street, and down a bit to the R is the church. Nearby is also Saint Martin Orgar and Saint Clement Eastcheap churches. [*****1][Make good note of this one !!!]: This one has to be one of yours (!!!). John Collens Goldsmith of London. There is John Prentice of Colne Engaine near Braintree in Essex (!!!). What I like here is that this is a prequil to EC being dated 1572 in London. Here is also John Fynche of Colne Engaine (!!!). Dale, you are called: We need to know more of all of these people mentioned here, and who exactly is this John Collens, we know Martha Collins' father is probably in London for at least a period of time, but TL suggests that this John Collens would only be grandfather/uncle at the least. Whatever. But what this does tell me is a clear link of Collens to the correct families in EC, specifically John Prentice. Keep in mind the 2 John Collens from Bramford in Suffolk are not yet clearly defined as the same person, it has been assumed, but the one is clearly a 'sailcloth maker'. Well, looking at my tree, one John Prentice m. [Elizabeth Turner] did he not ?, and she is the sister of [Alice Turner] who m. Abraham Markham ?. TL suggests that this John Prentice is the grandfather of the John Prentice who m. [Elizabeth Turner], probably going to be right ?. The inbetween Prentice person might be [Valentine Prentis] ?. http://books.google.co.za/books?id=KO1ceziscVgC&pg=PA723&dq=Prentice+Colne+Engaine&lr=&as_brr=3&cd=7#v=snippet&q=Prentice&f=false John Prentice d:1620 and has a son John Prentice b:20-08-1618. He d:Abt. 1640 ?. After his father dies, [Elizabeth Turner] m2: [Bartholomew Clarke (Tailor)] and has John, Elizabeth, and Joan Clarke. === http://books.google.co.za/books?id=HJt_9gaMjcgC&pg=PA121&dq=John+Prentice+Colne+Engaine&lr=&as_brr=3&cd=1#v=onepage&q=John%20Prentice%20Colne%20Engaine&f=false The [William Isack of Alphamstone] is probably linked to [Christopher Isack of EC]. === Little Laver in Essex is where some Collens are, and this is where the John Locke comes from. Some let us look at the list at a glance to see anything of interest: [*] D/AEW 18/317 Will of Elizabeth COLLENS of Little Laver, widow 1629 [*] === [*] Q/SR 345/89 Recognizance of Thomas French, John Chaulke and William COLLENS, all of Braintree gents.; French (as in 88). 1650. OK, here is a Thomas French alongside William Collens of Braintree, this William Collens should be part of your tree -R (!!!), add him to your notes, and here is one Thomas French, possibly the father/brother/close to the john French chap in MA (!!!). === [*] ANNE COLLINS Spouse: HENRY WILSON Marriage: 03 MAR 1633 Saint Martin Orgar And Saint Clement Eastcheap, London, England. I would add this one too to your list. === Apothecary: http://books.google.co.za/books?id=YcAtAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA3&dq=meaning:+apothecary&lr=&as_brr=3&cd=6#v=onepage&q=meaning%3A%20apothecary&f=false I think there will be a much larger picture coming into play here on medical matters, and this William Collens 'Apothecary' seems to mean one who mixes medicines, has a shop, maybe something like a 'Pharmacist' ?. [***] Q/SR 241/44 Recognizances of Edward Lade "Keemer", William COLLENS apothecary, both of Braintree, and Edward Archer of Bocking husbandman; Lad to keep the peace towards Christopher Harwoode of Braintree butceh... 1623. Apart from Martha Collins and Edward Collins, there is at least one other branch of this Collins family around Braintree + EC it seems. [*] D/DMq/T2/16 Assignment of Mortgage [consideration not stated] (i) John Nash; (ii) Thomas Collins, both citizens and vintners of London; (iii) Arthur Harris of E. Farley (co. Kent), clerk, and John Mason of... 1697. [Maybe place on a list for future reference ?]. === Mawdlen Collins Spouse: William Kirkall Marriage: 14 APR 1561 Saint Martin Orgar And Saint Clement Eastcheap, London, England. === [***** *****] [Q/SR 41/72 Recognizance: John COLLENS [Collyn] of St. 10 September 1572.] I am changing this to 10*'s. The [Henry Clarcke of Lamarsh] is probably the grandfather or close of [Bartholomew Clarke (Tailor)] the second husband of [Elizabeth Turner of EC] who m1 to the grandson of the John Prentice mentioned above. This John Collens is flowing and working like clock work in [Speculation Mode] for me. Daniel Collins Merchant of London m. the dg of a Goldsmith. Whatever the exact case, this John Collens links directly to John Prentice of CE who must be the grandfather of Abraham Markham's wife's sister Elizabeth Turner who m. John Prentice 'Yeoman'. [John Collens [Collyn] of St. Margaret Pattens, London, Goldsmith]: Dale: Place this chap as the primary person to look into further. He will move about I think, but at least we have found him (!!!). It is time to include Abraham Markham family in this search now too. This seems to be AM's connection to Collens + Prentice from London. The common factor is this John Collens Goldsmith of London.... The 'Salters of London' are not yet in the picture, but their TL is just back 1-2 notches if they ever do fit in, but not yet. But we want 'RICH' Collens, which is what we have here. To -R: You are too negative, so from today I am calling you +R. Either way, one day or another, you will have to compile a full set of London records for Collins, etc. I suggest no you, but maybe someone can assist you to start a book to extract all, and I mean ALL of the London records for any Collins spelling for all, or at least, but not less than that, for this L1 area of London. You need to compile the list/book by church (!!!), it has to be done for your tree and surname. I would start off by a simple text file, I have an excellent text program if you want it. - S.K.M. - [!!!] ============

MGC: http://www.cornafean.com/william_bedell.htm http://www.belfastcathedral.org/visitors/virtual-tour/item/67/corbel-william-bedell/ Black Notley is right next to Braintree in Essex. This is the birth [Chr.:25-12-1571] place of Bishop William Bedell [Bishop of Kilmore + Ardagh]. It 'seems' his parents are [John Beadle] and [Elizabeth Elliston]. Bishop William Bedell [BWB] also had use of a tract of land in Suffolk. http://dunhamwilcox.net/source_files/stebbins.htm [Lands Recorded - Sold; 2 May 1636; Cambridge, Suffolk Co., MA 46. On 2 May 1636 he sold to Nicholas Danforth "about four acres and half of land lying in the Neck of Land lately the land of Richard Webb" and "about five acres of land lying in the Great Marsh lately the land of Richard Webb" (CaBOP 39)]. Deacon Edward Stebbins is the presumed son of William Stebbins of Black Notley. Of note, and I found this interesting, he is also the person in Hartford CT. ["Thomas Bedyll of Black Notley in the County of Essex, Yoman, in his will, dated September 16, 1550 (and proved in the Commissary Court of the Bishop of London for parts of Essex), directs his body to be buried in Black Notley church, and mentions his wife Johan, his daughters Alice, Custans, Johan, and Margery, and his sons John the elder, Thomas, James, and John the younger. The will of a Johanne Bedell of Hatfield Peverell, co. Essex, widow, was proved in the Commissary Court of the Bishop of London for parts of Essex in 1576. ... She mentions the children of three daughters, Brokes, Wyseman, and Rix or Cricks. This testatrix was probably Johan, the widow of Thomas Bedyll of Black Notley."]. [John Bedell was of Notley, co. Essex. Children of John Bedell: 1. Margery Bedell married William Brock.] http://treetreetree.org.uk/Fitch.htm#JohnBedell In and around this family tree area, we find names: Fitch, Thurgood, Goss, French (!!!), Reeve, Brock, etc. I suspect this [John French of of Edwardstone] might be connected to the French chap in MA ?. [William Boosbey of Earls Colne written 3 January 1679 as the tenant or occupier along with James Markham of William's 'copyhold ....]. [Will of William Boosbey of Earls Colne, tailor. This same James Adams has a problem with both James and Abraham Markham. For the Daniel and Nathaniel Markham to be in NE with Edward Collins, one would think that both D+N would be related. Jas Markham m:1632 and Abraham Markham m:1633, only one year apart. Probably the best strike point is that the Edward Markham who lives with Abraham Markham has no b. date for or in EC. Dale: If any person of any family was born in say Braintree Essex say between 1590-1620, there are no church registers that exist, is that correct ?. - S.K.M. - [!!!] ========================
