    3. Weddings ---In a candlelight service NewYear's eve, Miss VirginiaCreasap, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Creasap of 932 Woodrow avenue, became the bride of William E. Colegrove,son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross E.Colegrove of Harding HighwayWest. The ceremony was readin Oakland Evangelical UnitedBrethren church by the pastor,Rev. H. V. Falor. The candleswere lighted by Mrs. Donald O.Creasap, sister-in-law of the bride, and Mrs. Jack Mercer ofMansfield. Mrs. Creasap wore a light wool crepe dress, andMrs. Mercer was attired in grey wool crepe. Both worecorsages of pink carnations.Powder blue wool jersey was chosen by the bride for her wedding dress and she worematching blue feathered hat and veil. Her shoes were in wine color. She carried an orchid. Her father escortedher to the altar and gave herin marriage.Mrs. Richard Clevenger of Ak-ron, sister of the bridegroom,was the bride's matron of honor. She was dressed in pink wool crepe gown and pinkhar, and carried a bouquet ofbaby iris and pink carnations.Jack Colegrove served as bestman for his brother. Usherswere Donald Creasap, brotherof the bride, and CharlesKempton and Don Matthew.The bride's mother was costumedin a fuchia dress woth which she combined black accessories,and her corsage was of whitecarnations. A gray dress wasworn by the bridegroom's mother, her hat was in a pinkshade, and she wore a corsageof pink carnations.During the candlelighting, GeneDecker, organist, presented "Always," Berlin, and during the ceremony he played "IndianLove Call," Frimi, and "OhPromise Me," DeKoven. For hispreceding program his nimbers were "Evening Star," Wagner;"Theme from Conderto in B FlatMinor," Tschaikowsky; "My Heartat Thy Sweet Voice," Saint-Saens.from "Samson and Delilah"; "Venetian Love song," Nevin; "One Alone," Romberg, and the traditional wedding marches. Mrs. William Hawkins sang "Because," d'Hardelot, and"I Love You Truly," Bond.Following the wedding, the cou-ple left on a short wedding tripin southern Ohio.The bride is employed in the Universal Cooler accountingdepartment, and her husband isa layout man for the FairfieldEngineering Co. He is a veteran of World War II, in service three and a half years.Both are graduates of HardingHigh school. They are makingtheir home west of Marion.
