Binghamton NY Press 1951 Monday, October 1, 1951 John Colegrove Dies at 82 In Norwich Binghamton Press Bureau Norwich - John Wesley Colegrove, 82, died Saturday night at his home, 60 Borden Avenue. He was born, April 17. 1869, at Smyrna, the son of the Rev. Andrew M. and Eveline Boardman Colegrove. Mr. Colegrove was a member- of the Broad Street M e t h o d i st Church, of. the Men's Club'of that church, and was treasurer k of World Service for 38"years." -^ On June 28, 1891' he married Mary E. Wood in Sidney. Mr. Colegrove was employed by the Maydole Hammer Co. from 1912 to 1932, and Wellwflod Ribbon Co. from 1932 to. 1941, when he retired frojn active employment. Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, Elmer S. Colegrove of Centralia, Wash.; six daughters, Mrs". M. G. Salisbury of Dixon.Ill., Mrs. Ralph S. Freer of Utica, Mrs. Ethel Cook, Mrs. Carl Fern, Mrs. Genevie've Towhsend a.nd Mrs: Carl Cook, all of Norwich; 19 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Fahy Funeral Home at 2 p. m. Wednesday. The Rev, Thomas G. Swalea Pastor of the Broad street "Methodist Church, win officiate. Burial will be in Mt.
