The Otsego Farmer Cooperstown, N. Y. Friday, June 25, 1943 Mrs; Minnie C. Packer Mrs. Minnie Colegrove Packer, aged severity-five, Hied at the home of her son, Glenn L. Packer; about 5:30 Sunday morning aftef a long illness. . She was born, .February 7, 1868 at Masonville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Colegrove. On October 27, 1886 she was married to Herman B. Packer of Westville. He died July 10, 1933. Surviving are two sons, Glenn L. Packer .with whom she resided and Leo packer,_ of Oneonta: one grandson, Pvt. William Packer, of .the U. S. Army; four granddaughters, Mrs. John Kosoc of Gloversville, Mrs. Howard Cole of Oneonta, and . |.lie Misses Barbara and Elizabeth Packer at, home; and three great grandchildren.. Mrs. Packer was a resident of this community the,greater part of her life. She was a faithful Christian woman.and many friends will'mourn her passing. She has been tenderly cared for during her long illness by the daughter-in-law with whom she resided. The family will have the syriipathy of many friends and Of the community. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon'at-3 from the home of the . son, Glenn L. Packer. The Rev. John Swineford of the Portlandville Methodist church will officiate.
