Richard A. Colgrove, 72, well known farmer of Catorland, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sadie Planck, Denmark, at4:15 o'clock Sunday afternoon,after an illness of over a year. Mr. Colgrove was born in Edwardeville, Ont., one of a family of seven children of the late Charles and Maria LarabeeColgrove. he came to this country over 60 years ago andhas resided in Castorland formany years. He was a member ofDenmark Grange. Surviving aretwo daughters, Mrs. Sadie M.Planck, Denmark; Mrs. BeatriceM. Woolschlager, Copanhagen; asone Charles F. Colgrove, Copanhagan; a brother NelsonColgrove, Mill Spring, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Anna L Stone, Gouverneur, and six grand-children. His wive Mrs. EvaShampine Colgrove, died in July, 1928. Funeral services were held at his late residence in Castorlandat 12:30 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, rev. D. E. Hartley, Copenhagen, officiating.Interment was in the SpraguevilleCemetery.
