WEDNESDAY, F E B 24. 1915 Mrs. A. I. Colegrove. Mrs. A. I. Colegrove died at the home of her d a u g h t e r , Mrs. Frank H Gates, following a brief illness caused f r o m a shock on Sunday morning, Febuary 14 a t the age of 73 years She was born in Brookfield on August 1. 1841, tbe d a u g h t e r of Stanion and Eliza Hoxie Burdick . She was united in m a r r i a g e in 1867 to Asa I. Colegrove of North Edmeston and to them was born ' o n e child, Mrs Gates, who with her g r a n d d a u g h t e r , Marjorie survives her. She moved to this village in 1881 and since the death of her husband in 1898 she has resided with her daughter Sbe was a valued n u m b e r of the Bapi t i s t cburch and took an active part in all church and soeial work and quiet, pleasing manner she will be missed by all her associates as well as la othe home where ber cheerful presence was ever a help Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon in the Baptist c h u r c h and she was laid to rest in the Union cemetery.
